It doesn’t take much to get a party started in Manitoba during the summer. And with zero-proof options, they can happen anytime, anywhere and with anyone.
So come on, Manitoba! Summer doesn’t last forever. There’s a party nearby and in true Manitoba fashion, everyone’s invited. Let’s soak up the sun and make those memories of karaoke nights, lazy rivers, cabin weekends and music festivals last.

Here’s a few simple tips to make your party more inclusive:
- Keep staple mocktail ingredients stocked (think soda water, lime or cranberry).
- We love a good drinking game, (zero-proof beer pong, anyone?) but often, drinking games can make people feel pressured to drink, so switch things up with a board game or dance floor!
- Have a feature mocktail alongside a feature cocktail.
- No questions asked. In friendly Manitoba, everyone is welcome to Join the Party, however they choose to participate!

Gochujang Caesar
Relax, enjoy, and celebrate this summer with a zero-proof twist on a classic Canadian favourite.
Ingredients
- Celery salt, to rim
- 3 oz clam and tomato juice
- ¾ oz Gochujang
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- Ice
- Korean marinated egg, to garnish
To Prepare
- Rim a tall glass with lime juice and celery salt
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until chilled
- Strain into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice
- Garnish with a Korean marinated egg
Pink Porch Crawler

Ingredients
- 4 cans zero-proof beer
- 1 can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
- 4 oz. lime juice
- Orange slices, for garnish
To prepare
- To a large mixing bowl, add beer, lemonade concentrate, and lime juice
- Stir until combined and transfer to a punch bowl or lemonade pitcher
- Fill punch glasses with ice and ladle overtop
- Garnish each glass with an orange slice
Apricot No-jito
A classic, easing drinking mocktail with a fruity twist.
Ingredients
- 2 oz zero-proof rum
- 1 ½ oz apricot jam
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 5 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 4 oz soda water
- Lime wedge, for garnish
To prepare
- Add zero-proof rum, apricot jam, simple syrup and mint leaves to an empty shaker, and muddle to release the aromas
- Add ice and shake until chilled
- Strain into a fresh glass with ice, and top with soda water
- Garnish with a wedge of lime and extra fresh mint
