Over the past few years, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries installed controlled entrances at its Winnipeg Liquor Marts and at some of its rural Liquor Marts. This initiative was in response to a dramatic increase in brazen thefts and robberies that occurred at Winnipeg Liquor Marts in recent years. As a result of the initiative, there has been a significant decrease in thefts and a near elimination of robberies at Liquor Marts with controlled entrances.
Please see the following FAQs and information regarding controlled entrances at Liquor Marts.
