Josiane Kroll - Director

Josiane Kroll is a senior IT leader at the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, where she leads the Asper IT team and drives strategic technology adoption. Under her leadership, she focuses on advanced initiatives in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cloud computing that enhance both academic programs and operational excellence.

Michelle Cameron - Director

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Michelle Cameron is a proud treaty status woman, band member of Peguis First Nation, and mother of five. 

Michelle is the owner and founder of INAC – Indigenous Nations Apparel Company and Dreamcatcher Promotions, Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned promotional company and one of the largest promotional companies in Winnipeg.

Sarah Pinsent - Director

Sarah Pinsent opened Lean in Counselling & Consulting Inc., her Gimli, Manitoba-based counselling and therapy practice, in 2018. Sarah grew up in the Interlake and has lived in Gimli since 2009 with her husband and four children. 

A community and social services professional, Sarah is highly skilled in the delivery of mental health services for individuals, relationships, and families. She provides support and recovery for persons living with addiction and trauma. 

Jeff Traeger - Chair

Jeff Traeger is President and CEO of the United Food and Commercial Workers union, Local 832. Since his election to the position, Jeff has worked tirelessly to make life better for the union’s 19,000 members and all working Manitobans.

As the lead for Manitoba’s largest private-sector union, Jeff possesses a keen understanding of labour dynamics, negotiations, and advancing the interests of workers. His dedication to progressive values pairs with his skill in negotiating and collaborating with individuals of all perspectives in service of working people.

October is National Fairtrade Month. It’s an occasion for organizations and individuals across the country to celebrate collective efforts to build a fairer world. Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) has been a Fairtrade Workplace since 2019, annually re-earning this designation from Fairtrade Canada. .
