Josiane Kroll is a senior IT leader at the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, where she leads the Asper IT team and drives strategic technology adoption. Under her leadership, she focuses on advanced initiatives in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cloud computing that enhance both academic programs and operational excellence.

With a PhD in Computer Science and over a decade of software industry experience, Josiane brings both scholarly insight and practical expertise to her work. She occasionally shares this knowledge by teaching degree-credit courses in the University of Manitoba's Computer Science department.

Josiane's commitment to building inclusive technology communities is evident in her role as founding member and ambassador for Women Techmakers (WTM) Winnipeg, the local chapter of Google's global program. Through WTM, she has created meaningful opportunities for women in technology to advance their careers and connect with peers. As a Google Developers Group organizer, Josiane continues to foster a collaborative and vibrant tech ecosystem in Winnipeg, ensuring the local technology community remains innovative and welcoming to all.
