If you choose to drink alcohol, building a balanced lifestyle that includes non-drinking days during the week and following Canada’s Low Risk Drinking Guidelines is a proven way to do it. Best of all, this approach will leave you feeling healthy and energized.

For women, the guidelines recommend:
 
  • 2 standard drinks or less a day
  • 10 standard drinks or less a week
  • a minimum of 2 non-drinking days per week

For men, the guidelines recommend:
 
  • 3 standard drinks or less a day
  • 15 standard drinks or less a week
  • a minimum of 2 non-drinking days per week
