Munna joined Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries in January 2021 as the Vice President, Information Technology. He is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s technologies while providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing technology initiatives.
Munna has more than 25 years of experience in business and technology leadership, most recently as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Government of Manitoba, and the Assistant Deputy Minister of Business Transformation and Technology. Munna also served as the Associate Deputy Minister of Central Services responsible for government-wide shared services including procurement, facilities construction and management, warehousing, and fleet vehicles. Other previous roles include heading corporate information technology for the City of Winnipeg, and various director roles with the provincial government and University of Winnipeg.
Munna earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science from the University of Winnipeg, and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Manitoba. He also holds Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations and has completed the Queen’s University Executive Program in Strategy and Leadership.
