Heather, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is head of the Finance division, responsible for Financial Analysis & Reporting, Accounting, Budgeting, Corporate Procurement, Central Services and Corporate Property Services.
Heather joined the Accounting department of Manitoba Lotteries in October 2005 and became Executive Director, Accounting following the merger with the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission in 2012. In November 2016, Heather was appointed CFO of Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries. Prior to joining the corporation, Heather worked in both audit and tax at Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants and then as Controller of TruServ Canada Cooperative Inc.
Heather is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree earned with distinction and a Master of Accountancy degree, both from the University of Manitoba.
