Gerry is responsible for the corporation’s annual business performance, daily operations, and the achievement of strategic goals. All members of the Executive Management Committee report to him.
In addition to his role as Acting President & CEO, Gerry directs the Corporate Services function. Gerry joined Manitoba Liquor Control Commission in July 2007 as Chief Information Officer, and in January 2011 was appointed Chief Corporate Services Officer, which included Human Resources. Following the merger in 2012 and until December 2016, Gerry was the Vice President Facilities, Central Services, Security & Surveillance. Prior to Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, Gerry worked for over 20 years in the agriculture industry, directing the information technology function and providing project management services for strategic development initiatives, mergers and acquisitions.
Gerry holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree from the University of Manitoba, and has completed the Queen’s School of Business Executive Program. He is currently a member of the Computer Information Professional Society, Project Management Institute, and Building Owners and Managers Association of Manitoba.
