Christine Van Cauwenberghe - Director

Christine Van Cauwenberghe is Head of Financial Planning at IG Wealth Management. She manages a division of legal, accounting, and financial planning professionals located across Canada.

Christine is a tax and estates lawyer, a Certified Financial Planner, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner. She holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba. She is the author of Wealth Planning Strategies for Canadians, published annually by Thomson Reuters, currently in its 18th edition.

Christine serves on the board of Villa Rosa and has served on numerous boards in the past, including the University of Manitoba’s Alumni Association, St. Mary’s Academy School Board (Past Chair), and St. Ignatius School Board. She has volunteered with United Way, Winnipeg Harvest, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
