New Fort Richmond Liquor Mart Opens Its Doors

The newly constructed Fort Richmond Liquor Mart was officially opened this morning.

Now located in a free-standing building at the corner of Pembina Highway and Kirkbridge Drive, the 10,400 square foot store offers ample parking and modern décor with environmentally-friendly features. Customers will be able to browse through an increased product selection of approximately 2,450 listings under a roof that provides an abundance of natural light to the store. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will also be on hand to provide assistance.

“It is a hectic world we live in, and one of the things we hear most from Manitobans is that they are looking for convenience,” said Jim Rondeau, Minister responsible for The Liquor Control Act. “Without a doubt, the newly re-located Fort Richmond Liquor Mart offers those living in south Winnipeg not only added convenience, but the highest level of customer service and socially responsible standards.”

“It is our goal to provide Liquor Mart shoppers with a pleasurable retail experience,” said Peter Kenyon, Chief Operating Officer for Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries. “We are confident that our customers in south Winnipeg will enjoy the store’s design and location and we look forward to serving them at the new Fort Richmond Liquor Mart.”

The Fort Richmond Liquor Mart will be open: Monday – Thursday 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m.
